I am looking to get 5 floating licenses for Siemens NX 9. I have been searching, and I can't find any forms or post that give a price breakdown. I just need the basic package. No PLM, FEA or mesh designs. I just need to create Models, print drawings, and assembly drawings. Cost information seems to be closely guarded.
Would getting more regular licenses be better / cheaper than floating?
Do they every throw anything in for free? Other modules or training?

What is the typical maintenance cost?
Edit 1:
NX41000 (Advantage) Node locked = $5,900 + $1,600/ year
NX41000 (Advantage) Floating -> not an option
NX11100 (Mach 1 Design) Node locked = $11,300 + $2,400/ year
NX11100 (Mach 1 Design) Floating = $14,200.00 + $3,000/year
NX12100 (Mach 2 Product Design) Node Locked = $17,800 +$3,400 / year
NX13100 (Mach 3 Product Design) Node Locked = $24,000 +$4,600 / year
NX13300 (Mach 3 Industrial Design) Node Locked = $26,300 +$4,900 / year
For the machine shop:
NX12450 (CAD/CAM 3 Axis Milling) Node Locked = $18,400 +$3,700 / year
Assume a 1.25 multiplier for Floating on the license and yearly maintenance. You can also get a 15% discount on the license, but not the yearly maintenance.
I found one breakdown of some offered packages, but not a complete list: https://m.plm.automation.siemens.com/en_us/Images/5242_tcm1224-4292.pdf
You can use the license for lower versions. So if you need to switch from NX 9 to NX 7.5, you can use the same license.
according to /u/hatts :
The license server setup is comically elaborate. Want to move a node-locked license to a different computer? You have to literally print out a form and mail it in.
If you have more, or better, pricing info; let me know. Be sure to include the software number (NX*****) and description. I'll add it to the list. Feel free to list add on packages along with the Product Prerequisites.
